29 May 2009
PHANTOM MEETING: TUESDAY 3 NOVEMBER 2009 AT PINJARRA PARK RACE COURSE
MELBOURNE CUP DAY
Please support what will be a great day at Pinjarra Park racecourse. We need a minimum of 150 people to run the day so please commit and pay on registration, include non golfing firies if you wish. Pick up from Mandurah train station included in cost (if required). Other race meetings on that day are over an hour from Mandurah (Ascot or Bunbury) and are very crowded.
We have exclusive use of the members indoor/outdoor areas, full racing TV service from NZ and east coast all day, plus full tote access to S-TAB betting pools. Inadequate registrations to this event may require it's cancellation and a day off for everyone. TAB outlets in Mandurah are mostly stand alone facilities with only two pub-TAB's in town which will be very crowded. There will be tents and bars on course with other groups hosting functions due to our approach to the race club but again we have the exclusive use of all members area. Come and socialise amongst firies even if not a punter, the comedy will be worth it!!
Check out the flyer. Any further questions for this day contact James Ferguson or any committee member.
